For example, in one study, researchers administered leaf extracts of the herb to mice and rats and then exposed the animals to experimental stress. The result of the study showed that the mice and rats exhibited significantly less anxious behaviour following consumption of the leaf extracts of Euphorbia neriifolia when compared to rats and mice receiving no treatment. The researchers concluded that the Euphorbia neriifolia extracts were significantly effective at reducing anxiety in the animals.
